WARNING-FALL HAZARD

· Always check your carrier before using and discontinue use of this product if you find loose seams or broken hardware.

· Please follow instructions for proper use and placement of the child, do not wear child in the facing out position.

· Never unbuckle the waist belt while the child is in the carrier.

· This carrier is intended to be used by an adult while standing or walking. It is not intended to be used during strenuous activity, while cooking or operating any type of motorized equipment or a motor vehicle.

· Do not use in place of a federally approved safety seat while in a motor vehicle.

· Be aware of your child’s arms, feet and head while going through doorways or bending over to avoid potential injury.

· Do not place baby down to sleep on a surface while still in the baby carrier. If your child falls asleep in the carrier and you wish to lay them down to sleep you must remove them from the carrier first.

· Be aware of the position of your child’s head to make sure that the air way is not constricted and that there is nothing in front of your child’s mouth that could restrict its breathing.

· Be aware of your child’s position in the carrier and always use the internal harness to ensure that your child can not slip through the leg hole.

· To be sure that your child remains seated safely in the carrier do not bed forward at the waist, bend only at the knees keeping the child upright in the carrier.

· Always use a second person to spot you when placing your child in the back carrying position to ensure the safety of your child.

· Make sure that the carrier is pulled all the way up past the child’s arm pits to properly secure the child in the carrier.

This carrier should not be used by persons with physical problems that might interfere with the safe use of the product, including but not limited to muscular or skeletal problems, problems with balance or dizziness or painful issues affecting the back or legs.

Please exercise good judgment and caution while wearing your child and do not engage in any type of activity that could cause harm, anything you would not do while holding your baby in your arms is something you should refrain from doing while wearing your child in the carrier. Do not eat or drink anything hot while wearing your child in the carrier to avoid potential injury. By purchasing this product, you acknowledge that the Manufacturer or Distributor accepts no responsibility for injury/damage due to the use/misuse of this product.

Order Completion and Shipping

All carriers, unless otherwise noted in the description are made upon order. This allows for you to have the carrier made just how you would like it. Please allow up to 3 weeks for your carrier to be made and ready to ship. Orders are constructed in the order in which they are received. If you have special circumstances requiring expedited shipping please contact us before placing your order. There will be a $15 fee for all expedited processing/shipping. Please allow 2-4 weeks from receipt of materials for custom orders to be completed and ready to ship. You may request an order confirmation when your order ships with a delivery confirmation number. If you would like your package to be insured you must add the insurance on the check out page. We currently will ship to most anywhere in the world that can receive mail, if you aren't sure if we can ship to you just send us a note to check before placing your order.

Returns and Exchanges

We except returns due to manufacture defect only. Should an issue arise due to a cosmetically second quality product where it was not made clear to the buyer before it was purchased,(meaning the carrier was not stated as a "second") the buyer will be entitled to a new replacement carrier of the exact same materials and reimbursed for their shipping charges to send it back to us. We will ensure that the carrier is made and shipped promptly upon notification that there is an issue with your purchase. Please keep in mind that these are hand made items and while we strive for excellence in our design and production, we do allow for a small margin of error.

We will allow exchanges on an individual basis if there is an issue of sizing with the carrier body. For example, you thought you needed an infant carrier but would have been better with a toddler carrier or vice versa. We will not process exchanges merely for a change of print or pattern. Each exchange will be charged a $25 restocking fee and your new order will go to the bottom of the list of orders for that given week in which it was returned. You will need prior authorization to exchange a carrier. If a carrier comes back without prior authorization it will be returned to the sender at the sender's cost.

Any alterations to the carrier either by the purchaser or by a third party will void the return policy and warranty. We will not accept returns from third party users or anyone that is not the original purchaser.

Warranty Effective May 1st 2008

There is a one year non-transferable warranty on all carriers that are sold through Olives and Applesauce or one of our accepted retailers. The warranty applies only to the construction of the materials and does not cover normal wear and tear. Shipping charges will be reimbursed for the original owner if there is a manufacture defect, otherwise it is the responsibility of the current owner to pay for the shipping.

Custom carriers will be covered for the materials that I use, but not for the panel or print fabrics. This means that the strap materials and snaps are covered, the silk that you might choose is not.
